Wirtshaus Steinegg

Located directly on the middle station cable car this restaurant has a great view of Fiss and the surrounding mountains. The fare is nothing fancy but filling and good. They have a large terrace and the service is very personal and friendly. After the big meal you can also have their 99 cent home made schnapps.

The worst mountain restaurant in Austria so far and I have visited many. I had a kindergarten with fish to be smoked. Instead, it was raw and frozen. The Gulassoup my husband had was very watery. The salad was sent back to the kitchen and it was not loaded. had to go somewhere to eat.

Our group of 10 had a very good experience in this cozy restaurant with great views. Dishes were nice (hirtennoodle a good Austrian pasta). Friendly service! Top of the restaurant is closed, so at the moment less indoor tables.

Amateurs. People are ready, but not able to meet expectations... we wanted to wait... fit 20 minutes to order, then more than 40 minutes for our food. Please install a professional management

Der Service war okay. Speisekarte und Geschmack ungenügend. Preise für Qualität und Menge viel zu hoch. Erwartungen bei toller Aussicht und einladendender Terrasse wurden total enttäuscht.
