True New York style pizza in a very convenient location right off the Mall! It beats out every fast food truck out there guaranteed. Don't even waste your time. You can smell the fire oven cooking the pizzas outside of Wiseguys. It's a small place and should be more of a takeout joint than a dine in. Especially if you get a whole pie like we did. On our trips to DC we usually go to at least one pizza joint while we're there. Wiseguy Pizza was it. It was close to our metro stop and there was no one in line. They had pizza by the slice which was perfect! Our son chose a cheese slice. I chose a supreme slice and a mushroom truffle slice. Hubby ordered Nashville Hot chicken slice and chicken tikka. The three of us chose Boylan sodas with our pizza. The pizzas were NY style in that they were thin crusted and large. They were pretty good. The decor was pretty rustic paying homage to local history of the area. The dining area was pretty clean.
Really good pizza! I?m not really a pizza person because I?m usually not a huge fan of dough-related products but their pizza is pretty good! I tried the grandma, Margherita and supreme. I've been a customer for over five years, and I was disappointed last night when a worker refused to wear gloves while serving. I've also noticed that some workers are now using their phones or drinking while on the job. Please pay attention to these issues; Wiseguy was great before.
This is the best pizza place I?ve ever been to. I can?t recommend enough the Korean Chicken and Buffalo Chicken pizzas. They are pictured below. It?s around 5 bucks a slice, but totally worth it. The chocolate chip cookies are warm and but underbaked, perfect.

Average pizza. Had the chicken paneer, Nashville chicken, Korean chicken slices and a cheese slice. Only the chicken paneer I'd order again and only as a novelty. Most dollar slice joints in NYC are better than this.
