Ok so we’ve been here many many times in the past, but to be honest not since COVID started early last year, so expected changes as most places have had to adapt, the menu wasn’t as it used to be, where I was looking forward...to having the ploughman’s lunch I’ve experienced before here, choices now being, soup of the day, numerous sandwiches and panini’s of vary flavours and fillings, we had the Bacon Brie and cranberry sauce which were very good, service was also very efficient and the tables that had been used were actually thoroughly cleansed after each use which we witnessed the staff doing meticulously. Realized yesterday we only have 5 more weeks before the tearoom closes for the season. Could have put a damper on my mood, but how could I be sad in such a wonderful setting. So look on the bright side. 5 more weeks of enjoying...one of my most favourite places in the world. Beautiful surrounding, thanks to the wonderful gardeners. Fantastic service from such a friendly, welcoming staff. Delicious food; and well worth the money. I see someone mentions the wasps. Annoying; oh yes. Just as annoying as wherever they are found. Perhaps that person would like to make themselves really useful and find a wasp free country. Possibly Antarctica ??? No; don't fancy the weather.
On Monday, April 25th, 2022, after exploring Witley Court and Gardens, my partner and I decided to grab some refreshments. We stumbled upon the Garten-Teeroom next to the church and found a lovely table in the sunny winter garden. We enjoyed a late brunch of carrot and parrot soup, followed by an egg-cress sandwich for me and a tuna sandwich for my partner. We washed it down with a cup of tea for my partner and a latte for myself. We spent a relaxing hour in this charming tea room, with friendly staff and beautifully presented food. Afterward, we took a leisurely stroll through the gardens before heading back to the parking lot to collect our car.
Wow, this restaurant is incredible. If it were located right in front of our house, we would visit all the time. The garden here is spacious with numerous seating areas, making it easy to find a great spot to enjoy your meal and drinks. The service was friendly and efficient. Other restaurants could learn a lot from this team and their dedication to customers. The roasted teacake, the skorone, and the coffees we ordered were all beautifully prepared and presented. And the prices were very reasonable. This is the perfect spot for a relaxing refreshment.

high tea for four people. no waiting at the arrival, beautiful settings, excellent and very friendly service by gill, the very attentive and on our nutritional needs (a vegan, a vegetarian). the food was delicious, freshly prepared (the scenes were still warm) and. plentiful as the tea refills. I highly recommend it.
This tea room is a small gem. Everything we tried was delicious, especially the chicken sandwich which was one of the best I've had. The Victoria sponge was also fantastic. We can't wait to come back.
Well organised and hygienically cleaned between visitors. Lovely tea, cakes, snacks in congenial surroundings. Clean toilets. Close by to the church for a visit too.
Seems we have been waiting for so long for our favourite place to open again. Finally open and we have already been twice. Going again on Saturday with the family.

Fantastic coffee, not generic rubbish! The cake selection was unreal! Didn’t have food but a very good looking menu! Great garden area to sit as well!
Stopped here whilst visiting witley court. Lovely tea room with efficient and friendly staff. Food was excellent!! Not to be missed.
