The patrons were friendly too and the bathroom was clean! Just a local bar with top notch food and service. I know a lot of Appalachian Trail hikers stop here. came after a day on the appalachian trail ins wits end. we needed a taxi back where we had parked at high point, but one could not get. dave asked everyone in the bar who was sober enough to drive. Finally, one of the barkeepers asked tony who wanted to agree with us. Thanks, everybody. burger were good too.
This is a wonderful tavern that makes you feel right at home. There’s plenty of space to move around, and it has a cozy, rustic vibe reminiscent of a charming getaway in the woods. It’s a refreshing escape from the crowded towns and cities. I highly recommend it!
