Ein Spaziergang lockte uns zufällig in den Wittelsbacher Hof. Die Sonne schien und wir erspähten die einladende Gartenterrasse, von der man einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge hat. Um es kurz zu machen: Wir bestellten das 3Gang-Menü für den unschlagbaren Preis von 29,00 €. Eine falsch gebrachte Vorspeise wurde ersetzt und nicht berechnet, obwohl fast aufgegessen. Die Küche ist gutbürgerlich deutsch, der Service war freundlich und unaufdringlich. Wir beschlossen, vor unserer Abreise erneut hier zu essen.Der zweite Besuch gestaltete sich anders. Es regnete, wir konnten nicht auf der Terrasse sitzen. Flugs führte uns die Bedienung in einen Nebensaal, weil im Hauptsaal die Hotelgäste Buffet...
Familiengeführtes Hotel . Restaurant Interieur, gediegen, gurtbürgerlich, man versucht, mit der Deko alles etwas aufzupeppen. Das Restaurant ist empfehlenswert. Unter tschechischer Leitung, mit neuem Schwung. Alle Sonderwünsche wurden erfüllt, man bekommt das ESSEN UNTER EINER SILBERGLOCKE SERVIERT: zwar hochpreisig, aber dafür gute Portionen und hochwertiges Fleisch. Das frisch und mit viel Liebe gekocht wird erfährt man z.B an den Kroketten…nicht aus der Tüte . sondern handgerollt und nicht fettig. Die Weinpreise sind überhöht.
we went in our first night to dinner during our stay in oberstdorf and were happy that we did. one of our children got a pizza, the other spaghetti with red sauce, my man got spaghetti with garnel and bark strips and I got a...small salate and the tortellini suppe. the whole food was very good and the server was efficient. my only complicity was that the place is a little warm but overall great culinary experience and we would return again!

One of our kids got a pizza, the other spaghetti with red sauce, my husband got spaghetti with shrimp and beef strips and I got a small salad and the tortellini soup. The entire food was very good and the server was efficient. My only complaint was that the place is a little warm but overall great dining experience and we would return again!

nice dinner and good wee, my man took the steak that I took the fish that did not fish against the other. good suppe with mushrooms as well as outstanding dessert with various fruits and cakes. good service and good place as carparking;
Bisher haben wir noch nie schlecht gegessen in Oberstdorf.Auch hier war das Essen wieder sehr gut. Wir würden gerne wieder hierher kommen.
Zwar kleine Portiönchen, aber sehr sehr fein! Gemütliche Stube, sehr ruhig und familär. Würde auch hier sofort wieder essen!
