Wok'd Gourmet Chinese

Hello everyone. It's been a year since my last visit, and I decided to see if Knoxfield Wok’d had improved their dim sims. Unfortunately, the chef was on lunch break, so I could only order the dim sims. When I cut one in half, I found that it was mostly filled with pastry. I had written a review in November 2021 based on my experience from mid-2021, and I can't believe that a year later, Wok’d is still serving dim sims stuffed mostly with pastry. When I visited the Knoxfield location, I showed the staff the dim sim I had purchased. She was shocked and admitted it was terrible. I even brought my own plate and knife and asked if she could cut one of their steamed dim sims for comparison.

Let’s start with the homemade spring rolls, they are a nice size but the pastry was raw on the inside and they were colder in the centre than on the outside. The rice had lots of peas pieces of rubbery beef and remnants of satay sauce, that’s a whole new experience. Last but not least the bbq pork in plum sauce, it was exactly how it looks dry and tough as shoe leather. This meal was totally inedible. Don’t waste your money here.

Waited 45 mins for my takeaway order. Ask where it was and was told the chefs (I use that description loosely) forgot my order. Waited another 10 mins and got the most disgusting meal. The kicker was the compensation stale prawn crackers. Worst Wokd around. Give this one a miss if you want an level of quality and service.

After reading reviews I was so skeptical on trying food from here but I’m definitely going to admit, it was the best sweet and sour pork I have had in pakenham, the rest of the food was delish too, the black bean beef was so tender and full of flavor also, we will definitely be back! I was shocked with the dishes i ordered. The vegetables covered in some gooey white clear sauce. I mean c*m has more flavour. I don’t understand how they have customers. If you want flavor try the sand pit at the kids playground for a gourmet night out DIABOLICAL!!!

I put an order by over, tried to call the load over 30 times to make sure they listen to my allergies, as I am anaphylactic to a quantity that I indicated and no one answers the phone. that is completely ridiculous

To be honest, I would like to tell them how it was eating, but after my 20th attempt to order the load, I gave up and got nandos instead.
