Spent two evenings here while on my most recent trip to Zurich. The Wolf's location along the river might make one think it is primarily a tourist spot, but it is definitely not. Over the two evenings, it was noticed that there must be local...regulars who frequent the Wolf. While the food was definitely Swiss and pretty darn good, the real fun is in the live music and the dancing. The band played everything from AC/DC to traditional oompah music. The musicians (who are different from week to week) were talented and great entertainers. The wait staff were attentive to our needs. Underground Experience: There was live music and after about 30 minutes a waitress came and wanted 8 CHF per person, even though we just wanted to have a beer and then eat somewhere else. We weren't made aware of this when we entered; we were then referred to posters in the room that are so small that you really have to pay close attention to them. There are also dozens of other posters on the wall. For our purpose the music was rather disturbing anyway. So we explained that we would finish the drinks and then leave. We were then very rudely asked by another service person to pay the 8 CHF, which we again very clearly refused. We will avoid the restaurant in the future. Extremely unfriendly,...
I went to eat here with some friends and the chicken wings were full of blood inside, blood came out of my mouth I told the waiter it was not normal and that I can't eat this and he took them back to kitchen but at the end he still charged them to me, even after talking to him I still had to pay it's not normal
Fantastic friendly service and great food! Fantastic music and vibe also. Place Is crowded but all tables are nicely socially distanced and separated with plexi glass. Not expensive also, considering it is in the central. In fact it’s so nice that we came here twice...on our holiday.

a real gourmet of the extra class with appropriate eating. why are the cordon bleus constantly burned and the frits greasy? most likely the filled beerbretzel was enjoyable, all the other bottom drawer.Pricely on the go.
They were pressed for servers, but the place was slow and the schnitzel was greasy and bland. Even the beer wasn’t that good! Friendly, though you can find better places.
after nem cordonbleu your motor needs no oil for at least one year. fine but very heavy. I'm sure you'll go with a little less frit oil
Everything excellent. Typical establishment for locals. My favorite type.
