Wood Oven - Réserver une table

We frequent this restaurant often because it is close to where we work. Three weeks ago, my friend's lamb chops were tough and chewy. I suggested sending them back, but she insisted it was fine and didn't want to cause a scene. Tonight, we decided to go there or to Christina's in Barking, but because it was raining heavily, we opted for Wood Oven since it was closer. Upon arrival, there was confusion with the wine order, as we were pressured into ordering red wine when I had requested white. Eventually, the waiter brought a bottle of red wine and a can of coke instead. When our food arrived, my lamb chops were disappointing, as I received only half of a chop and one of them was overly fatty....

It was my family’s first visit to the restaurant and after reading previous reviews I was a bit sceptical but the service was even better than the food. We ordered two large doners one chicken, one meat and one extra meat medium doner. The chicken was nice but the meats flavour was a bit strong not particularly my taste but my husband enjoyed it, the bulgar, rice and cacik were all tasty as well as the complimentary bread, tea and baklava. I would recommend buying medium as large and medium were nearly the same portion size. All the staff made sure we was comfortable and have everything we need. As walk-ins we were greated in a welcoming and friendly manner. Nice variety on the menu. The salad, bread and dips were fresh and tasty. The lamb stew was delicious and when served with rice was a good sized portion. Tried a fruity mocktail which was beautifully presented as well as really nice. The meal was rounded off with gorgeous baklava followed by Turkish Delight and tea. Would definitely return to this restaurant

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. I decided to come here last minute for my mom's birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make our visit special. They helped me surprise my mom with a celebratory dessert, which truly made our day. A big thank you to all the staff, particularly Costi and Ola, for their fantastic service!

I had heard a lot about this restaurant and decided to go there for a meal with friends. The food was just okay, but the service was terrible. When I asked for a chili pepper, the waiter said they would only serve it if I said please. Their body language was unwelcoming and they were very argumentative. I won't be going back, sorry.

went into this restaurant last night (11th march) it was my husbands birthday and there was 8 of us the place was very busy the staff were with us as soon as we sat down we ordered drinks and food the staff were so nice and friendly the food was lovely and the place was buzzing would defo go back

Mixed kebab grill was nice but overpriced. The guy that served us was very friendly, a bit too friendly lol, and very animated. The lahmachun could have been better. The mocktail and house lemonade were nice.

We had mix kebab and lamb sash ! Food was amaizing ! Service spot on ! Our waiter was very helpful and patient with us ! Thank you Costi !
