Woodford Tandoori Cottage

Wow. What a fantastic visit. This restaurant has had many different names managers over the decades but after visiting for the first time in a.while the changes are astonishing. Ali will greet you see to your every needs. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is out of this world. This restaurant should have at least one Michelin star. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

The food was cooked to perfection. The chicken and lamb was tender and full of succulent flavour. The biryani rice was full of spices and cooked properly. The jalfrezi had the perect amount of heat and flavour. First time visiting here, and will definitely be coming back again and again. Great service too. One of the best India meals I have had in a long time.

It’s so hit and miss. You can have the best meal of your life or the worst. I tried letting them know as I’m loyal and want to see them doing well, but it lays on deaf ears. The manager doesn’t have a clue how to talk to customers other than to take your money. When there are 2 Indian takeaways in the village, it baffles me as to why they do business this way.

We are regular customers at Woodford Tandoori Cottage and the food and service is exceptional and never disappoints. There is quite often a new dish to try and last week was a Green Herb Sauce served with Tandoori Chicken which was mouth watering and delicious, definitely a new addition to our ever growing list. Would highly recommend Réservez une table maintenant

Our usual restaurant for a Saturday night, and tonight my meal was AMAZING! I had tandoori King prawns for the first time here and it was the best dish I've tried so far. 6 or 7 huge tiger prawns fir £12.95, fantastic value. Cooked to perfection. Ali and the team are a delight. Excellent service.

While working away in the area we decided to try a local Indian restaurant, we chose Woodford Tandoori Cottage . Excellent food , great service , good value for money and we will definitely be going back

My mum and I came for a meal at this restaurant and it was great! All of the meals were fresh and delicious. Our meal came quick and all of the waiters were amazing. We both definitely recommend!

We have eaten in the cottage a good number of time the food being great. However as a take away, don’t spend you money, the food that arrives is not worth the money nor the effort to order. Réservez une table maintenant

Food was mediocre. Quite bland and swimming in oil. Quick delivery but food was tepid. Sadly wouldn’t recommend.
