Woodgrain Pizzeria

I was so excited to finally find a chicagoland pizza with a light and airy crust. the delivery was 20 minutes too late, but to be fair, the doordash driver kept me totally in the loop and apologised. apparently the entrance was closed and the line was long. That's not, but. That's good. no care. it's what it is. I was very excited to try this pizza. I am originally from pittsburgh, where this type of crust is what makes the torte and I have delivered these pizzas also 5 years in my earlier days. it looked amazing on the surface. I bite and was like. whaat? (see photos)Sssooo bad. so disappointing.

The food was decent, but the service and cleanliness were absolutely unacceptable. Despite the lack of customers at Oberweis, Burger Joint, and Woodgrain, every table was filthy. The staff seemed distracted, busy making their own lunches and neglecting their duties, which greatly affected service. There was a large sign promoting taco pizza, but when I inquired, I found out that not all the toppings were offered. The most off-putting part was the hot sauce bottles, which appeared to have been untouched for months. I won't be returning.

We went out to Woodgrain the other day for lunch. It was super clean and had all the appropriate covid clearances for us to dine in. I was so excited to build a pizza and even more excited to eat out since its been a while. I was treated with so much respect! It was a amazing food, qnd quick cook time and I even got to enjoy a nice conversation with a few employees during my brief wait.I loved the experience and I cant wait to go back for more! Yummy

I called to command you. She said 15 minutes. I came in 30 minutes. I paid and waited 25-30 minutes. then he gave me my 2 pizzas, probably sitting in the back, and they also sat so long that it didn't taste when we came home. the veggies got soggy etc. Réservez une table maintenant

they have changed prices. it is 6.99 for the cake fromd 1.00 for each topping. such a simple torte is not a poor one and a bit cost. I can see the size of the cake. .25 per topping or even pushing it 50 but 1.00 it is much too much.

Fantastic pizza and wonderful staff! They are always incredibly friendly. I appreciate the hand-stretched dough, and their gluten-free pizza is among the best I've had! I absolutely love this place!

The pizza here is fantastic and the prices are great! I ordered the Meat Lovers, and for just $11 after tax, I received a nicely sized pizza. Highly recommend!
