Woodies Charcoal Chicken

I've been going to this take away for around 12 years. Thank goodness they never change their recipes. The chicken is absolutely delicious. I've never been disappointed yet. But their specialty has to be their salads. The bean salad and the mushroom salads are my favourites - so tasty and packed full of vegetables. My daughters favourite is the bean salad and she usually hates vegetables. I also love the egg salad coleslaw and potato salad. They are seriously more tasty than SumoSalad which I go to if I'm north of the river. The prices are extremely reasonable - a quarter chicken and three choices of salad is $8.50 and truly enough to share.

Living near Woodies i go here quite often when im too lazy to cook and i have to say the portions are good, the prices are fantastic and the service is good. I cant say i was impressed with the way the owner berated his staff members in front of customers but apart from that i would recommend woodies for a quick meal

We have lived in the area for 2 & a half years & had never tried Woodies. Now that we have we'll never buy else where. The chicken is divine, chips are awesome & the salads are fantastic. We've even order our Christmas food from Woodies this year.

Tonight was the 4th time in the last few months since we have discovered your shop... and tonights pizza was so good i had to leave feedback.. you guys have the best crispy light base ever� delicious.. we wont go anywhere else.. and best prices. Réservez une table maintenant

Best place to book your cooked turkey and chickens at XMAS. Cheaper than cooking them yourself. Always served promptly and and chickens taste great. Local and central. We get Chicken and salad at least weekly.

My hubby turned 65 on the 1st of December and we had a party for him. We ordered the Chicken at Woodies plus Chips and different sorts of salad. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was all ready on pick up.

Best chicken chips, gravy and salads anywhere! The chickens are not massive we have four greedy adults now in our family which means we buy two chucks ????
