We moved to Jacksonville almost 2 years ago from the Chicago suburbs and really enjoy BBQ, particularly baby back ribs and brisket. At Woody's we were able to try both. We ordered the Texas brisket and were able to add a half rack of Woody's signature baby back ribs for a small upcharge. My wife and I split the plate, this was more than enough food for both of us. The ribs were AWESOME! I believe they were the best that we have had since moving to Jacksonville. The brisket was very good too as was the sweet potato side and the cole slaw. Had lunch with my sister today at the Woody's on Powers Ave. Marie my server was wonderful. She was very attentive, the food came quickly, she made sure we were happy with everything and our drinks were kept full. And as far as the food Chef Smooth did an amazing job. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. He is an amazing pit master!!! If you are in the area stop by for the best BBQ and service you can find!!! Love me some Woody's!!!
Woody’s BBQ has a great sliced pork sandwich and the best crispy fries add their bbq sauce to your sandwich for pure enjoyment and pleasure! Make sure to tell MJ thanks for cooking and dishing up a delicious meal and don’t forget to give Marie a big tip to reward her for her great service and attention to detail!! They also have a nice seating area outside if you want to soak in some rays while you eat.
