The bar staff and waitress were friendly, but the quality of the food did not match the high prices. The burgers and chips were disappointing, leaving us feeling like it was the end of the world. The coleslaw was watery and tasteless. The beef burgers seemed like they were low quality store bought patties with a cheap aftertaste. The chips were dry and oven-cooked. It felt like a waste of money compared to what you would get at a fast food chain. It's unfortunate that such a lovely country pub would have such subpar food. We will not be dining here again.
Very attentive and well informed staff about the menu items and wine on the list. Food was excellent and they coped with my wife's dairy allergy very well. Felt confident eating there. Drinks and wine was a little pricey but it is worth it for the general quality of the experience and the quality and range of wine on offer.
Fast service. Very pleasant. Had a lovely evening. Were prompt with orders, and always clearing to make sure the place is tidy. Well done! Cocktail game needs to be better but nice enough. Had a lovely evening, left after drinks and portion of chips to end the evening with the sun setting. Will definitely come again x
Went to the open gardens in Mulbarton.thought we would go into the pub for a pint .ordered a pint of ghost ship and a glass of pressco.was charged £14 .I nearly passed out I have never been ripped off so much.won’t be coming back so shocked.the boy behind the bar was pleasant though.still can’t believe it

Several items not available. Steak and ale pie was disappointing. Meat was tough, and not much of it. Gravy was thin and pastry was a flaky pastry lid. Jacket potatoes skin was so tough that you were not able to cut. Beans were watery and cold, cheese was a small amount. A disappointing meal.
Me and partner thought we would stop for a drink on the way back from the city, nice beer garden, drinks a little on the pricey side, however the comments being exchanged between staff made us feel quite uncomfortable so we left after one drink and wont be returning
Bar Food and drinks overpriced. Service good. Beer garden is a useful facility. It is not an establishment which would merit rave reviews in the general course of business. Rating against local peer pubs understandable no better than average.
I enjoyed good food, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Dog friendly and made to feel very welcome. A great experience.
