This was our first visit to Wu Er, and we were pleasantly surprised (although the small sign outside might make it easy to miss at night). Despite the bustling atmosphere, my wife and I had a cozy private booth to ourselves. Being Chinese, my wife and I were adventurous with our food choices. The lamb kidney was outstanding and the crab special was also very tasty. The only downside was that the food was a bit too salty, but hopefully they will adjust in the future. The waiter was friendly and attentive, likely learning from their sister location. We are excited to return and try the Peking Duck (note: call a day in advance) and bring our kids along too. We think they will enjoy the skewers.
