As a resident at Zetland , it's not my first visit to this restaurant . For what I found it's not worth the price !1: as a Chinese or Taiwanese restaurant you staff need to speak Madarin at least, if not ,as lease they dont have to show a sad face when serve a customer2: the signature beef noodle soup is good ,but not perfect .It's tender but tastless .no seasoning at all .tell your chef to brine the beef before cook it .soup need more seasoning as well . It's not acceptable to charge $2 dollars for a tiny bit chilli (thinking the waitress is too lazy to get it3: Dressing of beef tendon salad is good but the tenden is too tough ,cook it longer 4:all other dishes we tried is horrible .salt

My family of seven visited Wu-Gu on a Saturday evening and found the restaurant to be quite empty, with several waitresses available to assist us. We had some difficulty understanding the menu due to language barriers, which caused some delays in placing our orders. However, the standout dishes included the Mix Vegetable Stir Fry, Prawns with Ginger Shallots, Turnip Omelette, and Prawns with Plum Sauce. The Turnip Omelette was particularly delicious. Overall, the food was tasty and the service was efficient, though a bit inexperienced. The restaurant itself was clean and modern, but lacked a cozy atmosphere. In the future, we may opt for a more welcoming restaurant in the area.

I've eaten at Wu Gu many times since it opened and it is so consistently good. You enter through a gorgeous old style wooden door and find a busy kitchen and gorgeous modern interior. Now the food. Prawn dumplings are a must. **** Prawns are like sweet n sour but a million times better. Eye Fillet with black pepper is the best cut of meat you will ever find in a stir fry! Also love the beef with Taiwanese BBQ sauce and anything on the Salt n Pepper menu. The crispy chicken with basil is like Taiwanese KFC, so good!I don't live in Sydney any more but wish I did. The dishes come out from the kitchen super quick and hot. I'd be here every week if I could. Enjoy!

Food took a long time to arrive, the waiter got my order wrong and therefore we ended up with 2 dishes rather than 3. They did offer to remake our original order but since the wait was too long we thought it wasn't worth it.They serve home-style Taiwanese food that costs roughly half the price elsewhere - hence anyone eating here is getting ripped off. The portion was small and taste mediocre at best. This is coming from a Taiwanese and I know Taiwanese food, WU GU has certainly not made us proud. Réservez une table maintenant

Overall, the restaurant was just okay, but it was quite pricey for the quality of food we received. Three of us split two appetizers, two main dishes, and a few beers, totaling around $120. The waitress who took our order didn't write anything down and ended up forgetting to place one of our dishes. Luckily, we were already satisfied with the amount of food we had. It was also not very busy for a Friday night, which could be saying something about the restaurant.

We had the beef soup mentioned on the front page along with some dumplings and shredded beef. The food is good and the prices were around what is expected. The restaurant is small and clean and the staff were friendly. The soup had a good flavour and the dumplings whilst not as good as the ones at Blue Dragon are nice.

Very unhappy staff met us, no smile or friendly greeting. The food was ok. Good fried rice and beef pancake, the rest was just ok. Will try again and try different things but in all lacked atmosphere and flavour.

Try the soup, you will fall in love! They really know how to make the both. Definitely coming back here to try more dishes. Atmosphere is nice and private, service is extremely polite an unobtrusive. Réservez une table maintenant

The small plates really make it a yum cha style meal. The 5 spice chop and 5 spice chicken were excellent, but it was all good. Attentive staff. Licenced. quiet and roomy.
