Upon arrival in an empty restaurant we had been informed that no table is available due to reservations which would start an hour later. This reminded me of the good old east Germany where business was not required to get an income. Resistance payed off...and we stayed for an early dinner. The Italian style food was of average quality and was lacking some taste. Stick with the German meals which are much better. The cheesecake in a Glas is a unique creation and tasted more like blueberry quark yogurt with whole Italian coffee cookies inside. The credit card machine was defect, so be prepared for cash only payment. Overall for a number restaurant in town it was a disappointment.

Wunderbar is in a sidestreet only 50 meters off the pedestrian street. We visited with our 2-year old and it really went well. We could bring our stroller inside the restaurant and the staff brought crayons and paper for our daughter.The menu is quite extensive, so most people will find something they like here. We had a chili con carne (tasty but not very spicy) and a pasta dish (very good). With drinks, coffee and an ice-cream it got to 45€. We had a very nice break from the sightseeing and can wholeheartedly recommend Wunderbar for families.

Für Güstrower Verhältnisse ist es neben dem Kurhaus empfehlenswert. Wir aßen beide das einzige vegane Gericht, Süßkartoffelpommes mit einem Burger, bestehend aus vier Kartoffelröstis, vielen frischen Kräutern, süßen Ergänzungen (Zitrusfrüchte? sowie einem Patty aus Erbsen. Die Portionen waren riesig und das Gericht qualitativ hochwertig und lecker, was den hohen Preis begründet (16-17 Euro . Eine kleinere Portion bei einem günstigeren Preis wäre empfehlenswert.
Der vegane Burger hat super geschmeckt, die Portion war sehr reichlich. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm. Insgesamt könnte es etwas zügiger gehen, aber das Essen ist hier halt auch keine „Fertigkost“. (Auch die  Sanitäranlage ist super sauber, was oft ein Zeichen für die Hygiene insgesamt ist.  Ich komme gerne wieder
In a narrow sidestreet of the main shopping street, you can find this lovely restaurant. It looks a bit dark from the outside but inside is very cosy. Food is really nice and the prices are correct. The burgers are big and very tasty!
Strange experience of trying to book a hotel in Rostock but ended up in Gützko. Wunderbar was however a very nice and friendly experience, good Mexican food.

We waited for a long time to get our food. My Chicken-burger was dry and diffucult to cut. Large portion.
Feine ausgesuchte Karte. Die veganen Gerichte sind super lecker. Wir gehen seit Jahren immer wieder hin.
