If you ever happen to go to Wilderswil I can a sure you a real good time at the Wydi bar.The owner Herr Frolie is the perfect host.He speaks good English and will make you most welcome. He has a passion for Harley Davison and all bikers are welcome. It's worth trying the genuine swiss absinthe he sells at 2 different strengths 72% being the good one. Don't ride home afterwards. Is only open after 17.00 closed Tuesday and Wednesday Well worth a visit to drink with the locals
Comme on a avait roulé toute la journée, on voulait trouvé un truc à grignoter à côté de l'hôtel sans reprendre la voiture. La gérante nous a accueilli chaleureusement, on s'est installé à une table avec d'autres clients, elle nous a proposé une petite carte, on a pris 2 plats qui nous permis de découvrir les fromages locaux et la charcuterie. C'était bon et convivial. La gérante parle français !!! La terrasse est agréable.
We stayed at Hotel Alpenblick and found this nice little place just round the corner where we went for a drink on a night time. As it was the beginning of September it was rather quiet however the host made us very welcome and made an effort to speak to us in English, we had quite a laugh. We were offered a free liqueur which I think was a local drink so cheers and best of luck for the future.Cath and Andy from the UK
Dropped in at Wydi whilst staying in Wilderswil. Lots of local banter together with very welcoming hosts. The pub has a Harley Davidson theme but is not a bikie haunt. Good beer and wines at good prices together with light food......the chilli con carne was great with the local Interlaken beer. A shot of absinthe set the evening off!!! Friendly hosts and friendly pub. Recommend. Réservez une table maintenant
