X2o Xaviars On The Hudson

Traveled from New Jersey because of the reviews and it was well worth it. The restaurant was very clean and airy and the tables were spaced far enough apart to allow quiet conversation. The service was professional and not intrusive. The food was excellent fresh, properly prepared and beautifully plated. My wife had the tuna crudo and I had the octopus both great. I had the Beef Wellington, which is hard to get just right but the chef did and my wife had the Pan Seared Mediterranean Sea Bass with polenta and snow peas. Dessert was the Chocolate Dome delicious and not too sweet. Also, nice views over the Hudson to add to the experience. My only complaint is that the Cabernet sold by the glass...

Lunch prix fixe remains a reasonable bargain. While the prices have steadily increased over time, and the bread is no longer a plus item, the lunch meal at X2O remains an outstanding experience. While the restaurant did suffer a lull some years ago, it has once again moved back into being one of the finest in Westchester. Having eaten at this restaurant many dozens of times (probably once every 6-8 weeks), since it opened, there has never been a wider choice of items to choose from on the lunch menu. Not only that, but for the past several months there are daily specials to enhance the selections.

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. We ordered shellfish crepe, tagliatelle with shrimp, Beef Wellington, creamed spinach, and mango chiffon cake. The service was very attentive and professional. I have been a patron of this restaurant for many years. My only critique is regarding the espresso - it was only okay, not excellent. It lacked crema and was not served in a proper espresso cup. For the price of five dollars, I would expect a better presentation with more attractive and stylish cups.

I have been dining at X2O for more than ten years, probably about 50 times. Every visit is consistently excellent from beginning to end. The food, especially the seafood crepe, is amazing, and the staff is exceptional. The view of the George Washington Bridge, Tappan Zee Bridge, and the Hudson River is beautiful. X2O is definitely one of my favorite places to dine and enjoy a stunning view. Great job as always, X2O. Réservez une table maintenant

Our experience, as it has been every time we have been to was wonderful It was a clear night and, from our table, the view south to the George Washington Bridge and the NYC skyline was spectacular! The noise level was higher than usual for the first hour only because of the small wedding reception at the other end of the restaurant.

I absolutely love this spot! The food, service, and prices are all outstanding. There were quite a few big groups which made the noise level a bit high, but this is definitely a perfect spot for special events and it was great to see people celebrating together.

I’ve been going to Xavier‘s restaurant week for many years and I understand differing circumstances but the menu for restaurant week was so very limited and most of the entrÃes were basically cheese-based
