"The town of Ribeira virtually falls asleep at lunchtime and on a sunny day we strolled through the back streets seeking somewhere for a light lunch and were largely unimpressed by what we saw as we passed through the silence. We turned a corner and spotted the Plaza and went to investigate. The restaurant instantly catches your eye as it is bright, smart, elegant and modern with sturdy outdoor furniture.
