Exactly as described, unfussy and a bit rough round the edges but there are clear efforts being made to improve this. Continental breakfast was really good and the breakfast staff were very helpful and friendly. Perfect place for a short or stopover stay. I was there for 1 night as travelled in advance for a day at zip world but could easily stay for 2 or 3 nights without issue. Room was large and comfy with plenty of towels provided and tea/coffee facilities. We paid a fair price for the offer they provide.Would stay again

It is a place of passage with a homely touch. Everything is clean and the staff is very nice. If you care a lot about aesthetics, then it is not your place . If you want to feel at homeGive this historic place a try.
