Yahoo Seafood Restaurant

We went here for a family dinner on a Sunday night. 6 adults, 1 child. We've often eaten here before and the food has been great and fantastic service. The only customers in the restaurant aside from us was a table of 4. After ordering the first meal arrived 1 hour later. The last meal arrived 1 hour and 50 minutes later!!! The young waitress had delivered a complimentary plate of the deep fried prawn crisps and half a dozen Mini spring rolls and apologised for the delay in the food arriving. During that time there was loud arguing between a man and woman in the kitchen. It was very uncomfortable. We had arrived for an early dinner as the adult children all had early starts for work the next day. Almost 3 hours later we left. Two meals weren't eaten and the other meals were only partially eaten because the food wasn't that great. Upon leaving the manager asked if we had enjoyed our meal. We were honest and said no, commenting on the ridiculous amount of time it had taken to arrive. He stated they had been busy with take aways. That's not good enough! With only 10 people in your restaurant there is no reason for the food to be bought to our table, certainly not staggered over almost two hours! He told us he hoped they could perform better next time. There won't be a next time. The slowness of food arriving and the loud arguing coming from the kitchen. Most unprofessional. The food wasn't great. The only saving grace was the lovely young waitress, she was great. I felt sorry for her having to work in that environment. My advice, don't bother. If the restaurant had been packed you would expect a delay but 10 customers?? Ridiculous!

We have bought food here on a number of occasions. Their $10 lunch servings are huge. It is a typical Chinese Restaurant so don't expect luxury dining. We have tried the Satay Chicken, beef and black bean, Singapore Noodles, Mongolian beef and Curry chicken. All have been very tasty.

This place has very delicious food, there is alot of variety of types of dishes you can order. The chicken with cashews is very delcious and the Mongolian Beef is also very good. I also love how they give you 6 free complementary mini spring rolls when you order a meal over $16

Choose your dishes wisely as there is good and ordinary on the menu. The honey chicken for example is to be avoided as there is little chicken involved, mostly dough. The Fish with Ginger and Shalotts is excellent by comparison.

looks average from the street, and interior is not flash , but the food is plentiful, well cooked nice flavours ,at a reasonable price.
