This restaurant is a true hidden gem. The staff is friendly, genuine, and down-to-earth. If you treat them well, they'll take care of you in return. The food is exceptional, and the atmosphere by the lake is simply lovely. I highly recommend trying the baked salmon roll—it’s definitely worth it!
The highlight of this restaurant is definitely the views. While the food is rather expensive, it's understandable given the location. I was particularly disappointed to find imitation crab meat in the Yama special hand roll without any mention of it on the menu; it feels quite misleading.
If you have never tried sushi before, this is the place to go. It truly has the best sushi around. The restaurant also offers a relaxing view of the lake and has other delicious dishes for those in your group who prefer something other than sushi.

Fish King is the absolute best. My family and I have been loyal customers for years, and it is without a doubt one of the top eateries/markets in Los Angeles.
A step up from all you can eat sushi but worth the price. Fresh fish, friendly staff, and nice lie views if you sit outside!
