My wife and I love greek food and were therefore terribly disappointed in the processed, pre-frozen, gloop we were served at this place. For starters, the rice and potatoes were lukewarm and the calamari and shrimp came out of a box in the freezer I am certain. The sauce was some kind of gelatinized bland orange I don't know what. Good greek food should be brimming with mediterranean flavours and this was as boring and bland as it gets. We would never go back here. The only upside was my wife enjoyed her wine and our server was a lovely, pleasant individual. Otherwise save your money. $80 for food that is nowhere near as tasty as you would get for half the price at a Jimmy the Greek franchis...
We ordered two chicken souvlaki dinners and an order of calamari and everything was really great! The homemade tzatziki and salad dressings really elevate the humbly seasoned dishes. The calamari was cooked perfectly and very tender. This is comfort food made well and reasonably priced given the large size of the portions. The leftovers were great heated up the next day. We will be returning for more!
