The bread that was initially served was delicious; that's the last thing we ate that was,, unfortunately. I love avegolemono soup, but this soup was without the tang you look for from the lemon, which seemed to be missing from everything. The mini spanakopita were acceptable, though moderately greasy. I had the Greek lamb chops, which is one of my favorite dishes to order in a Greek restaurant. Unfortunately, they were entirely missing the garlic and lemon that characterize the dish usually. The potatoes that accompanied the dish had a fairly good flavor, but they were entirely too soft and greasy. To top it off, our service was terrible. Oh my goodness! You absolutely must visit this incredible restaurant. The moussaka was my favorite dish and the best Greek food I have ever had. The zucchini appetizer is a delicious indulgence. The atmosphere is gorgeous with fire, music, and white tablecloths. They have a full bar with fair prices. Our server Alexis was Greek and had excellent service skills and a friendly personality. Thank you for a fantastic experience! And don't forget to try the warm bread and soup to start - they are delicious. The portions are generous as well.
We went for my wife’s birthday dinner at 5:30pm. Service was good, but had to ask for water refills every time (it wasn’t busy). Food was good, but not as good as on prior visits. I had a salmon special which was small and covered in what was supposed to be a Greek lemon/cream sauce, but it tasted like lemon-flavored oil or butter and it made the whole dish a soggy mess. Spanakopita and saganaki were excellent. Other entrees were reportedly good, not great. We’ll give it another try probably.
we went through the coronavirus on a Saturday evening directly before the shutdown. the restaurant had already taken incredibly responsible steps to remove tables so that the patrons were separated. even without the vire situation, yanni does not touch her restaurant that is so beautiful. service was fabulous as mike and alex are always great and eating with something for everyone is delicious. we love to come and feel like they really care about their customers!
