Nothing more I can say delicious regular oxtail and rice, yes I did make a review about finding a hair but that didn’t take away from the food quality and taste that was before. I had plenty of places that had hair in the food it’s sometimes an accident. Even with the most precautions. What I like about this place is that I don’t have to ask for hot sauce and I like my hot sauce I mean I will have 4 of those little plastic things in the my food. They don’t pinch you on that. That lady was really nice and even the gentlemen that is there sometimes.

This is my favorite restaurant in Pickering because it's conveniently located near my home. The last dish I tried was the jerk chicken with rice and peas topped with oxtail gravy, served with a side of coleslaw. Everything was absolutely delicious! I will mention that the rice and peas were slightly spicy, as was the coleslaw. I enjoy a bit of spice, but it has to be balanced! I would definitely order this again. We also order the black cake for Christmas, which is incredibly tasty—moist and delightful. It never lasts long in our house!

I moved to Ajax about six months ago and have tried a few West Indian restaurants, only to be disappointed. I'm so glad I discovered this place today! The food was fantastic and the service was friendly. I ordered oxtail with rice and peas, and it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back to try more dishes. Next up is the jerk chicken!

I have visited both locations, and during my most recent trip to the Brock Street location, I ordered a large curry chicken. The staff were polite and friendly, and my food was served quickly, fresh, and hot. Everything was great, except for the plantain, which was unexpectedly dry. However, this minor issue wouldn't stop me from coming back. Réservez une table maintenant

I tried the J Chicken with Rice Peas and it was pretty good. The chicken tasted fresh and tender but I was a little disappointed with the coleslaw, which ended up just being cooked onions.I'm unsure if I'll be back here, but it was definitely worth trying!

Who knew you could pack so much flavor into coleslaw. I learn something new every day. Plus, I found a Jamaican restaurant that actually serves yellow yam! If only I could get this at a Yardie price or at least a toonie Tuesday ?

I can't say enough good things about this place. The food is consistently excellent any of day of the week, and the staff are so kind. I've had my fair share of j chicken over the decades and this might be the best of the best!

I think durham is hurt for good j chicken and Yardies seems to have some good food. Although a little pricey for a j chicken meal I feel like in a pinch for j chicken it’s a not bad choice. 4/5

Great food for great price. 100% recommendedFood was ready in less then 15 min and was very flavorful and delicious. Customer service was also friendly and fast!Next time im trying the oxtail ?
