Cajun food is not my preferred food, but found Yats online with high ratings, so we decided to have lunch there. I am very glad we did. When I told the person at the counter that I am not familiar with the food, he patiently went through the menu with detailed explanation of the flavor of each item. He also told us that if we don’t like our ordered food, he is happy to change for us. My husband and I both ordered half and half, so we got 4 different items on the menu and we are happy with every item! We had a GREAT experience at Yats tonight. The manager was extremely informative on how the restaurant works and even allowed us to taste everything on the menu before we made a selection. The chef changes the menu daily so everything is fresh and different each time. We love Cajun food and were very impressed with the menu. The food was spectacular. Something for everyone, even our picky 11 year old loved the rice and beans. And the price?! I dare you to find a better price with food this amazing. If you want an authentic taste of New Orleans right in Cool Springs you need to give Yats a try. We will be back!!!
Honestly probably the best gumbo restaurant I have ever been to. I'm not one to like gumbo because I feel like the roux has too much of a burnt flavor for me, but this place has changed my mind! Brad was the host and he was super professiona and super helpful when it came to deciding what plate to get. Brad made a sample plate for my partner and I to try. Overall I really enjoyed the friendly/home-like atmosphere. Again very professional/helpful. And the taste over all, the best I have ever tried! Super yummy! And the price was truly surprising! We will for sure be back!
Amazing food. Nothing around Nashville compares to what they offer here. Super friendly staff, they even walk over and ask how everything is. The only thing I wish they would add is an additional side of sausage, as the Columbus Yats offers extra sausage for like $2 more. All in all it's amazing experience period, definitely come by and try it if you're curious!
One of my favorite food spots in Franklin area.. been a Yats regular for a while now.. thanks to my friend who introduced this place to me! The taste of their food is GREAT New Orleans style cajun food.. i generally get the 1/2 1/2 plate.. Definitely try the Chicken Maque Choux, Chilli Cheese
