I have visited this restaurant multiple times and it always provides a quick and convenient pick-me-up. I live nearby, so I frequent this establishment often. On one occasion, a staff member suggested that I use the self-service kiosks to place my order, even though there were no other customers in the store. Without much thought, I utilized the kiosk for my orders. After several visits of casually ordering drinks through the kiosk, I recently noticed that the toppings were priced at 75 cents instead of the 83 cents listed on the kiosk. Bunch of teens playing ground and not paying attentions when a customer order. I have to order twice and once my order done they did not call and I have to wait 20 minutes. I went to cashier and asked about my order )They lied when they said they called me when I was sitting right in front of them and no body else ordering.is it because I did not give any tips? I am not eating there and only restaurant get tips.plus with the attitude.
I only like one boba drink, Thai milk tea, and have had it taste so vastly different in the different stores I've went to and the first time I tried Ya Ya's try at it it was the best I've ever tasted not too sweet and doesn't get worse as the ice melts and the perfect soft texture in the tapioca pearls. They're definitely a new favorite.
Cute name and also a great dating spot. Their wide selection of boba teas appeal mostly to the Asian Americans in nyc but I encourage others to try it as well. I have some Indian or Hispanic friends say they love the onigiris in particular. So savory and tasty! If you haven't been to this spot you're missing out. Just sayin'

BEWARE! KIOSK CHARGES MORE THAN THE STORE. STORE IS AWARE OF PRICE DIFFERENCE AND DOESN’T HAVE WARNINGS ABOUT PRICE DIFFERENCE ON KIOSK. Overall the food is great, just wish they didn’t scam people during busy hours to utilize their kiosk so they can make more profit. Just wait in line and refuse the kiosk!
Cute small bubble tea spot but recommend that you get less or no ice at all because their teas are a bit watery. If the store actually sees this, my tapioca balls are ALWAYS stuck together like a cube and I have to poke it to actually get it unstuck together sooo ya :P
Rice balls here are great and cheap, I would go out of my way to come here and get some rice balls. Store interior is a bit cramped when there is a lot of people waiting for their orders though.
My family and I adore yaya tea! We have been enjoying their rice balls since 2010 at the China Town location in Manhattan, when I was in college.

We enjoy the rice balls at Yaya, but their milk tea can be inconsistent. The restaurant is affordable and convenient for a quick snack or meal.
