My wife visited with friends before, who also recommended this place. English pib downstairs Thai restaurant upstairs...What not to like??! Really lovely service. Great food wonderful atmosphere. Definitely coming back again...with MORE family/friends!
Went there today with a friend as always after work , we got the beers and been told by manager that because i had a construction tshirt on and safety boots , we had to drink outside only , and the way he said was very very rude
Very disappointing on the Thai restaurant. Portions shrunk noticeably since last year. The sweet and sour pork special for GBP 14 has 8 small bits of pork, and is mediocre. The pad thai is passable, but seems to have declined.
It’s good to know that some of these good old English pubs still exist in London. A good pint was all we had but next time might have some food. Lovely place for people watching right on the corner Réservez une table maintenant
This was a good meal. We had bangers and mash and steak and ale pie and a couple of good IPAs. The steak and ale pie wasn’t actually a pie but a bowl of the steak with the flaky bit on the top.
Stopped here for a pint of cider and larger, very average but just what we were looking for. If you’re after a pub in this area for a beer stop, head here!
an easy choice. not particularly charming on the inside but a bit of an oasis in an odd part of town. good for standing outside of.
Nice little pub in a beautiful location. Not cheap but, then, what is in Mayfair? Quite posy. I would return for a drink, though. Réservez une table maintenant
Great place to catch up with friends. Quiet, no competing music. Exactly what you expect from a traditional pub.
