Ordered starters, mains and pudding. Starters were cold so sent back. One of our party ordered mixed grill which was not cooked to standard and the chicken (not usually on a mixed grill) was boiled, also asked for beans instead of peas but that was...a stretch,also the steak was asked med/rare this was well done but nowhere near med rare. Some meals were cold. When the puddings came, the homemade trifle was embarrassingly awful with no sherry nor fruit (should have contained as per the menu). Just awful. Simply awful.
only from the A57. our party went for a cozy Sunday dinner, which was just as good as the service was on the slow side, although efficient and helpful when they appeared. a large menu a door opening in the parking lot...was constantly opened and closed, which became an irritation main course. meat was better than the average herbal dishes. desserts were pleasant. the prices were okay.
my mother for an unplanned bite to eat and could not have been happier. the young lady who served us abbie was helpful in menu choices and was quick and efficient, we were never left without a drink and the trip became much easier. with her help. will definitely be sooner than later!

We visited in June for my husbands birthday with our 4 children. The menu was fantastic, a great selection for both the adults and children. We were served by Abby, she was very friendly and catered to all our needs. Great service, we will be...visiting again in the future
First pub visit since Covid 19 ruined 2020 fir everyone Will definitely come again. Extremely warm welcome from pleasant and efficient bar staff. Wine served in an ice bucket. Reasonable pricing and spotlessly clean. Good pub with good staff.
Went this evening with family, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, we both had steak and it was cooked perfect, I highly recommend and will be going back
Ordered our drinks and chips and got it served within 5 minutes- as a pub should be despite social distance and all this pub delivered what they should.
