Ye Olde Six Bells - Réservation de table

We had a wonderful meal at Ye Olde Six Bells! Since we were nearby, we wanted to sample some classic pub fare. The atmosphere was fantastic, and with the sunny weather, it was lovely to enjoy drinks outside before dinner. I recommend making a reservation, as it was fully booked on a Tuesday evening. A special shoutout to Gok—he truly works as if he’s five employees in one!

Food (we had trout) cooked to perfection, includng the vegetables. Delicious! Extensive menu of both traditional and innovative desserts. We really had a wonderful meal. Service, provided by Jo, was excellent.

I'm impressed. After two visits, the third one was just as excellent. It’s the perfect spot for catching up with old friends. The food and service are outstanding, and the place has a wonderful character.

Beautiful pub inside and out. The round table was in a very attractive room. The waitress, Alice, was very attentive and efficient and the food (roast) was superb. Will definitely return. Réservez une table maintenant

This is a beautiful old premises, perfectly restored and plenty space out the back for parties etc. We ate in the sun in the garden near the River Mole. Prices were good. No complaints.

Nice place and people. Smooth service. Only had sharers plats with my parents this time but was tasty and well presented. The garden at the back is big so you have enough place to be.

I had the roast beef which was excellent, the best roast dinner I’ve had in years. Service was really good, attentive but not rushed at all. Lovely atmosphere, can’t praise it enough.

The waiter was excellent, but the main course took an hour to arrive and was overcooked. The scallops were covered in too much sauce, which made them tasteless and small. Réservez une table maintenant

Normally a decent pub, but service and food quality really bad on this occasion. Not sure if we were unlucky or if it has just generally gone downhill.

a busy place, so the booking would recommend in advance, the eating was delicious and the service excellent.
