Didn 't see a server for about 10 minutes after we sat down. The whole time they sat in booths on their phones looking at tiktok. The menu was strange, you have to order sides a la carte if you want something with your main item. Some people may enjoy the cheaper prices due to that, though! Food was good . I enjoyed the orange juice and strawberry waffles! The grilled potatoes had unique seasoning (rosemary maybe? . Due to the lack of service or being checked on, I felt a bitbitter about leaving a 20% tip when I 'm basically paying someone to watch tiktoks. I 'm a young person that 's very pro-workers ' rights, but I dunno, I still have basic standards when eating in a restaurant. Anyway 3/5...
Located in downtown Hammond, this cozy restaurant is a hidden gem. Their fresh orange juice is absolutely delicious. Overall, the food we ordered was tasty, with some unique twists that still worked well. My breakfast was a bit lacking in seasoning, but I suspect it caters to an older crowd. After adding some extra seasoning at home, it turned out pretty good. Although there were a few things I didn't love, I am still willing to return. With a diverse menu, there is surely something for everyone to enjoy - you just have to discover it.

This is my fourth visit to this restaurant and I always enjoy the food. The service can be a bit slow at times due to how crowded they are, but it's worth the wait. This is a reliable breakfast spot with a mix of Mexican and American options. I particularly enjoy the Mexican style choices to balance out my salty taste buds after indulging in black beans and tortillas followed by pancakes. Be prepared for a long wait at this restaurant. If you decide you want a sandwich around noon, you may be told they are sold out of everything on the sandwich menu. This has happened before at 11 am. The staff is very short-handed, but they are friendly and rushed. Make sure you know what you want to order, and have a backup option just in case. The food is of very high quality once you finally receive it.
The restaurant gets very crowded on weekends, so be prepared to wait a bit longer for refills. The staff is working hard to take care of all the customers as quickly as possible. Despite the wait, the food is delicious, the staff is dedicated, and the prices are very reasonable. It is definitely worth a visit.
