We have been here a number of times with enjoyable company, good food and service. However this visit started off poorly with the waiterbeing rather condescending about sushi when I have been eating sushi 50 years before he was born {I'm from Hawaii where they have eaten sushi for over a hundred years, I have eaten sushi at Nobu's in New York when they first opened in the 1990's, Morimoto's when it first opened in Philadelphia in 2001 and Chef Morimoto spending 15 minutes discussing baseball and food with my family and again at Matsuhisa in Los Angeles again discussing food], so I was surprised and taken aback, particularly since we were in a happy and celebratory mood with this waiter being...

always think that sushi is this wonderful in the middle of the usa, far away from the sea. my first time in the state where my friend grew up. we met with his best friend who spoke very much about this place and I would recommend to all the others he after this. most helped to discover the best of the best when we asked them for their favorites. with the young they ordered the moriwase nigiri kobayashi maru, go-san and others. I naturally ordered the vegan sundried maki that I loved and the ume shiso that was not my taste favor, but can be someone else. kudos to the cook, where would this place be without them. kudos to amber for an amazing supplement to the experience of everything.

we really enjoyed it. I agree with some of the other reviews that it is certainly not fast. the eating began to come directly about when my wife and I became impatient and it was obvious that the reason why it took a while is that a lot of care went to make it and there was no corners cut. it is not cheap, but is definitiw higher quality than other sushi places in the city. our waitress was very polite and helpful to navigate the menu and the restaurant is clean and welcoming

best sushi I lived in omaha in the three years. the simba and omaha crunch are two of my favorites. the Bushido-Sake is a perfect compliment to go with everything they have ordered.
