I come to your true for what feels like my whole life. it is a classic standby with signatures that stood the test of time. but at my last visit I was not particularly impressed. the food was moderate and horribly overpriced for what you get. especially the children's menu. I remember a time when the child's meals came to an end with a side of obstinate and ice. this time niether was offered. my buffalo chicken pack was blanching. somehow between me and two children I dropped $50 with drinking money. for the same price I would just have a more full meal for me and my children, plus a beer and popcorn at winking lizard right on the road. yt will always fill the niche of nostalgic diners to 3...
Very nice little place that serves great tasting food. The only downside to my first visit was the drinks I was given, the fountain drink wasn?t working well at all and the pink lemonade didn?t taste very much like anything, but other than that, thefood was great, served hot and tasty. The food was amazing, healthy portions and great value for money. I?d definitely recommendbut if I was you, I?d book in advance to make sure there is a table as this place has a wait for service due to popular demand,and in my eyes that is a great thing.
Service is always great. Not a lot of seating available. Food is always good but 2 of 2 times I've had to send my first plate back due to hair being in my Food. They always respond appropriately and promptly prepare another plate and I can see that theyactually cook new food. My recommendation is that the cooks wear hair nets on their beards. I don't know if a 3rd time will bea charm for me.
Horrible. I didn't sit down because the server was rude, the cooks were having a nasty conversation about how much they hated their jobs. The atmosphere was depressing. I have been going to Your Truly with my family for years and the service has always been impeccable so I'm not saying I won't go back to Yours Truly but I WILL NOT return to that location. Good local spot. For those not in the know Yours Truly is a local company that has a diner type vibe (few locations around town) and serves breakfast all day (among other things). I went with corned beef hash with 2 poached eggs and it wasgreat. This location itself is tiny and it can get busy and full very quickly. But service was quick and efficient.
this is the third of your true to which I was (the others are playhouse square and independent), and I can confidently say that you truly do not miss. the quality of eating is excellent, and I cannot recommend the killit skillet enough. the French toast will mention an honourable one, and I think I like it rather in the usual order of pfann cake.
Our breakfast was delicious. Some of the best tasting pancakes ever. Our server was very personable. The restaurant was full. Server multi tasked and didn't permit it to overwhelm her. Due to the amount of business the place is very small and extremelynoisy which is why the poor ratings on atmosphere. I would be happy to return.
