Four of us hungry for Asian flavors pre Christmas Day. We had rendang, nasi lemak, fried kway teow and Cantonese hor fun. Nice Malaysian style cooked food in Victoria Park. Coul do with more wok hei or caramelization in the kway teow. WT the Malaysian food aficionado enjoyed the food. JK WY were two female co conspirators. We all walloped the food. Then WY bargained all of us into taking 3 1 pieces of kueh lapis in a doggy bag. Also took home some rice dumplings in bamboo leaves. Volume and taste all thoroughly saturated before Xmas.

Ordered Singapore beehoon, prawn soup noodles and fried squid. Beehoon was a very very small portion, lacked flavour and didn’t have the wok char flavour. Prawn noodles did not have prawn flavour, bit bland and tasted more like chicken soup. Fried squid batter was soggy. On top of it all, the dishes had a lot of msg. Some areas to consider improving.

Breakfast menu is great. Love their kaya toasts, lo mai gai and the other options. But we went there a few times for dinner and always felt disappointed. We tried beef brisket bee hoon, minced pork noodle and laksa. They tasted ok but we have better ones elsewhere. I think they should probably focus on smaller menu list but do them really well.

We came here for dinner as we thought we’d try something new and we weren’t disappointed, we ordered the roti, a noodle dish and the duck pancakes and all were fabulous. The staff were very friendly and the food came out quickly! Pretty sure it’s BYO too! We’ll be back for sure. Réservez une table maintenant

they always order their wat dan hor and they never dissapoint, taste very similar to what I had in Malaysia. the flat noodles were abit charred and goes perfectly with the eiergravur. hokkien nudel on the other side was quite average. also the salted egg chicken rice is good!

wow great Malaysian option. a beautiful place for a quick eating or even to pick up family friends. the price is very reasonable and the taste is authentic. try the roti chanai, sambal kangkung, congee and our favorit the salted ei huhn.

Nice things are the various kuih (local Malaysian/Singaporean cakes) and atmosphere. Dishes are average, small portion and bland. Dishes in dire need for improvement. Kway teow must have wok flavour!!!
