Ordered a takeaway for delivery. Food came minus the soup. Fine, mistakes happen... called Yumeijin to inform them and they said they would look into it. minute later a get a very rude guy on the phone claiming the soup was in the...delivery as he put in in there himself. He said I was basically trying to get further food from them. Upon at him ranting at me the delivery driver entered the restaurant and claimed she had accidently spilt the soup in the car!! No apologies what so ever from anyone. only ordered from here as my local Chinese was closed. Food luke warm and tasteless.
My family and friends went out for my birthday dinner tonight. There were 7 of us, including 2 seven-year-old boys. We were informed that the buffet was not available on Mondays, so we ordered from the set meal menu which was recommended for us, especially for the kids. The two waiters were friendly and helpful, providing great service throughout the meal. We started with shared appetizers, followed by a duck course and then the main dishes, all of which were delicious. As a birthday treat, I was gifted a bottle of wine. I will definitely be returning soon.
chicken was dry and chewy, beef was like leather, egg fried rice was yellow in colour but couldnt see no egg, duck spring rolls where bland (super market frozen taste better) didnt get round to tasting the pawn crackers, could see brown grease and theyre...ment to be white, was told one price on phone and think we where charged a higher rate (not sure though). our first and last order, in addition my first review EVER of any food, thats how bad it was.
The food at this restaurant was awful! It has a high rating on Ubereats, but I believe that's only because the app prompts you to rate the delivery, not the actual food. The sweet and sour dishes were bland, chewy and unappetizing. The sweet and sour balls were particularly bad, with overcooked batter. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

7 of us went for what we thought would be a nice meal. The food was average at best, the service was horrendous, the staff are all very young but clearly lack any sort of training. It’s also expensive for what it is. We went on a Saturday evening and there was only 1 other group in there, I think the lack of custom shows how this place has gone downhill Service: Dine in
Was a good restaurant. The only that let it down was the constant nagging from staff asking if we are finished. Which made us feel like we had to leave in a hurry which was uncomfortable. The food was incredible and the staff were all fantastic. We dined in for dinner and the price per person was around £30-40. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect score of 5.
