Yumi Japanese Restaurant Bar Excelsior

I?m always impressed going to Yumi?s! Always try the specials! This hot spot has literally changed Excelsior everyone loves sushi now! What a fantastic addition to this town. I?ve been coming to Yumi?s every time I?m in town and went tonight. We had the Tuna Crispy Rice appetizer with a Tonka Roll and K Pop roll that was a special for the night. I?m an avid sushi lover, and my dad is a newbie, but we both absolutely loved the meal. Can?t go wrong with what you order!

Literally one of my favorite spots to get good quality sushi in the cities. The staff are quick and efficient and the vibe is cozy. Just a forewarning that the rolls are huge but absolutely delicious.

-3 stars for a 5% service fee. Shouldn’t be any service fee at all and a 5% is the biggest I’ve seen. Stop trying to scam customers by hiding your prices. Build your fee into the cost of the food

Always a great experience. Service is good, but can be slow if you visit on a busy night (not their fault, just busy). Food is amazing, I love their freshwater eel fried roll. Réservez une table maintenant

Excellent sushi. Very generous roll sizes. Chicken Fried rice was a bit soy sauce heavy. Yakisoba noodles are very sweet for my taste, but still delightful.

The best sushi place in the twin cities. I've never had a dud here. in fact I moved away 4 years ago and I keep coming back just to eat here.

Perfection except that the waiter forgot our edamame. He didn't bill us for it, but also never brought it. Everything else was top notch.
