This place left such a favourable impression when I was last in Dortmund it was on my hit list of things I wanted to do when I was in Dortmund again. If anything it was a better experience than the first time!Booking at least for the evening service appears to be almost essential. We visited as a family on a weekday shortly after it's evening opening time and found it was already heaving when we arrived and fully booked. We were just lucky and a got a reserved table for somebody who had not turned up. It is 'all you can eat' and it's a very good price per person anyway with under 4's eating free and children half price. You pay seperately for any drinks. Alcohol is available, but there is a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks ranging from water, to fruit juices (including interesting ones like mango, lychee or cherry) and green tea.Ordering is via an a tablet which certainly attracted the attention of my two little 'uns. We were able to select upto 15 items from the menu each round (maybe it's 5 items per paying customer).? The menu is fairly extensive with a very good selection of sushi and hot food (grills, soups, etc), salads, desserts broken into sections. Once your selection has been sent off you need to wait 5 minutes to order upto another 15 items. All the food was good, and the sushi did not automatically have wasabi added to it (it was available as a condiment on the table if wanted)Service was impeccable and seriously fast! Despite it being a full house, sushi items were almost invariably plated up and delivered to the table within minutes if not seconds, in one instance the ice cream part of an order appeared almost before we had put the tablet down. Grilled and cooked to order items naturally took a little longer, but only a matter of minutes and I was never left with a feeling of waiting for food to arrive. All in all a lovely experience, good value and good food. Already look forward to my next visit!
