This has been a semi-regular of ours for quite a few years. When we first started buying noodles from here, they were very good - great sauces, packed with fresh ingredients. We have seen the standard slowly drop and, after tonight's dinner, we aren't going back. Our two dishes one a chicken dish and one a combination meat dish, were indistinguishable from each other in flavor. They both lacked both meat and vegetable in any great quantity and the noodles have a very odd flavor. It is such a shame as this place was once our go too for a relatively healthy alternative to cooking at home.
Arrived 7pm and placed an order for six dishes, they were quick to cook these and gave me a free large soft drink to have with them. The staff were quick to give chocolate santas to young children coming in and always acknowledged you coming in the door. It was just before Christmas and they were busy but always welcoming.The food was fresh, tasty and delicious for a great price. As they have a high amount of customers the food is quickly sold and nothing is sitting there. Very clean and they prepare each dish in front of you so you can see them at work.
Been using this noodle bar for 10 years. used it 3 months ago & it was bad. Its even worse now. I WILL NOT RETURN Ordered Seafood Mee Goring, it came with a few prawns bit of squid, two seafood sticks and 8 large bits of Tofu. I cant stand tofu. Since when is tofu seafood ?Rang them up spoke to a nice australian girl. who said "its just part of the meal, we put it in all the dishes." .... Yes cos its cheaper than meat or fish. they ought to be reported
I am a regular at yummy noodle at Cleveland, never disappointed with the food. I have been going here for years. I find calling ahead is easier than walk in as they can be very busy. Make sure you have cash as they don't have a eftpos machine. There is an ATM next to the shops. Boxes are big and you can get 2 big serves out of each. My partner and I usually by 2 boxes for variety. Réservez une table maintenant
Think it's changed hands since was last there. Looks like one size noodle fits all. One dish should have been thin noodles which turned out to be thick. Very spicy, which I like but not so good for my partner. Way hotter than average.Overall my dish wasn't great, unfortunately average. Shame as this used to be a great noodle house. Will give them one more try I the future
Ordered hot box (nbr 1), on the way home. Unfortunately , meal looks nothing like brochure. No veggies, 3 prawns, 3 carrots, no veggies.( oh I already said that). Noddles were gluggie and absolute no flavour at all. Had 3 fork taste and had to throw in the bin. They really have dropped quality in standards. This place used to be good.
I recently ordered a hot box for dinner from this business. The noodles were drenched in oil, the meat was underdone and there were no vegetables in site. I'm a little disappointed with the product that I recieved so I don't think I'll be ordering from this place anytime soon.
