Yumpling is the new hidden gem in LIC. It is an awesome addition to the neighborhood. This restaurant specialized serving classic Taiwanese comfort food. They offer many variety of menus which included fan favorite yumpling , rice bowls, noodles, sandwiches, bubble tea and dessert.We have a chance to try the Fried chicken Sandwich and it was phenomenal.The chicken is so good and crunchy. We also wanna order the Beef Noodle soup but it was sold out so we replace it with the dumpling. We get the Half and Half yumpling. It comes with half pork and half vegi. It was amazing. Yumpling offers a variety of Taiwanese food. There are a few tables available for dine in and we saw a decent amount of people stopping by to pick up their order as well!We ordered a few things to try: beef noodle soup: the broth taste like something is missing. Not quite the most authentic beef noodle soup broth in my opinion zha jiang mian: similar to the beef noodle soup, feel like it was rather light and just didn't quite hit the mark for the flavor as well. However, love the use of edamame to add texture to the dish pork yumpling: this is perhaps our favorite item of the 3 items we ordered very flavored and the texture of the dumplings was great!There are so many more items on the menu...
The location ran out of egg when I came. Even though they did notify while ordering, they simply said we no longer have eggs and did not offer any substitution. I believe that they should have at least tried to substitute the egg with something else. Got the crispy chicken bento and it was ok. The chicken's breading was thicker than I'd prefer. The pickled cabbage was drier compared to other places as well.
Yumpling’s beef noodle was a rainy day stable for me. However, the recipe seems to have changed. The noodle was chewy and flavorful in the past but now it is blend. The chili oil used to be so good and it’s the perfect compliment to the noodle, but now the recipe changed completely to shacha based. It’s a crime ?. Réservez une table maintenant
