Well... Isn't tapas should bite size pretty a nice decor. It is beautiful and cozy. The evening began with a tartaric acid duo (tuck and salmon) to be much more refined. This alone was a quite powerful duck. Next was a sopa de tortilla, which was delicious, but the avocado didn't work completely in it. Then there was a croquette de bacalao and empanada picadillo. Again much better (empanada) than the other. The next record was a risotto. I wasn't as happy as the rest. The risotto was granular and hard. The main plate was duck with beet and hazelnuts. The amarillo and feta mousse as accompagnement was fantastic But the duck was understated and quite Greek. The dessert was a good comeback with...
Worst Restaurant experience ever! Service was ridiculously slow. Salad came without dressing. I had to hail the waiter TWICE before getting some. Portions were outrageously small. Bread looked like modelling clay. Water for tea was lukewarm. Waiter kept on repeating how sorry he was. Restrooms were dirty. I have negatively rated this restaurant on our network so our fellow visitors will avoid it.
Excellent experience from beginning to end. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable and offered great suggestions for tapas to try and for the bottle of wine we ordered. We really enjoyed all the tapas we ordered to save the shrimps that were on average. The salmon stars, the keviche and the Arepas were the most for us. The atmosphere was beautiful. We really enjoyed our visit and go back.
Quirky little restaurant with gorgeous decor. Waited about 40 minutes from being seated to getting my empanadas after saying I was in a rush. The wait staff lost the bill and I was to wait longer. Food was okay but expensive for the size (yes I'm aware tapas means snack size). Shared my friends dinner with the punks from pouzzafest though and they enjoyed the ceviche.
Came without a reservation on a not terribly busy night, got seated right away. White sangria was more of a rum punch, but tasty, husband's cocktail was excellent. The tapas were so good. The mussels, empanadas, ceviche were all beautifully presented and had excellent flavor. A nice spot for a quiet dinner with the hubby.
We wanted to try this place for a while. Cocktails were average and there was a error in our order making us wait 40 minutes. However they made it up to us by offering the cocktails plus a bottle of wine. I think this place is better if you come in large groups and book in advance.
