Overlooking darling harbor, this restaurant has a view to die for . The food however is a series of hits and misses. The starters we ordered were papdi chaat and alu tikki, both of which were excellent though overpriced. The mains ordered were dal and veg sabzi which were strictly average. The portions are small, the food decent though overpriced.
We are not fans of Indian foods, but it worth having one once a while. Zaaffran is located alongside the Darling harbour, which guarantees a very nice view. The restaurant is big. Very friendly service. Dishes in very big quantity. Nice curry.
We ate here as a large group and I couldn't believe how accommodating they were! Everyone was served quickly, drinks were provided quickly, the food was fabulous and the manager was happy to split the bill several ways. Exceptional.
Saturday lunch - half price offer via TA / Dimmi. Cant compare a lot of Indian cuisine, however this was up there with the best. Service was good, so too the location and views of Darling Harbour. Réservez une table maintenant

On Family holiday we went there on Sunday. It's good Indian food options at reasonable cost.Good staff with Indian hospitality.
