Checked out the reviews and found this was the top spot for Thai in Burleigh. The reviews were spot on. Have not compared it with any others but it does rate highly from our experience of three entrees that were excellent and the three mains that we ordered as mild. One of our group found the curry a bit hot. It was by no means in the hot range so perhaps his tastes are more at the mundane end of the curry scale. Would definitely recommend Zab Isan if you are looking for great service, tasty Thai food and a great range of meals. It is BYO, so don't forget the wine if you want some with your meal. Parking is a challenge but we found some a short walk around the corner on a busy Tuesday night....
We eat at this wonderful Thai at least once a fortnight because we are never disappointed in the super fresh and tasty food. Every dish is delicious and with any degree of heat you require. Tony and his staff are delightful and are always on the ball with their service. It is great to sit outside year round as they have outdoor heaters for your comfort. The restaurant is BYO which makes it very affordable. We love it and are sure you will too.
As always, meals are excellent! Wonderful service and nothing is ever a bother. Waitresses always have plenty of patience as I never can decide what to order, as everything is awesome. Well priced too, not like "on trend" places that are usually always overpriced and overrated. This place is always top notch, would highly recommend.
The food is good Thai but nothing great. Some of the dishes are too sweet including the massaman curry. Pad Thai ok and chicken with cashew nuts stir fry were the two best dishes. Servings are not big and prices for byo are up there.

With so many options in Burleigh now its hard to decide. But this little place is great. Good prices and freshly made. Sit outside and go early to avoid crowds at surrounding eateries.
Always visit Zabisan when in Burleigh every year the food is amazing every time .... A must visit.... Always surprised at the cost on the bill so cheap for such terrific food
I wouldn't be rushing there. 3 of 4 meals were disappointing, the meats were like bubble gum and the prawns seemed to have been cooked for half an hour
We ordered spring rolls, satay tofu with vegetables, and a noodle dish. All of the dishes were excellent. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Good size serving, no alcohol license, BYO $2.50 per head. Always busy reserve a table. Open on dinners only. Good service.
Lots of yummy food to choose from, well known by many locals. Have been here many times and will happily return
