Hidden gem. Stop scrolling, this is where you want to eat. I love this place, and can't recommend it enough. The single plates are good, but the family plates are incredible.I had no idea what I was getting, but I was feeling adventurous. Worth it!Many items on the menu are served on a cutting board atop a round flatbread. Grilled vegetables, tasty rice, amazing French fries and a wide variety of proteins.Great service and atmosphere! Waitress gave me my bill. I gave her my CC she charged my card for someone's else's bill. I brought it to her attention and she got upset and and started to say she didn't know how to fix the problem. She spent next 15 minutes telling me she wants my personal information to to call me back. Will I am waiting for the csaorrect bill another customer calls and says they were charged 2 times from the same restaurant. Very disappointed in the person taking my order. The rest of the staff was very accommodating.
This is actually my second time eating at Zad’s. I discovered my new love last year and have talked about eating there again for an entire year. Finally we made it back to San Diego and after a year long wait I finally was reunited with one of the best dishes I’ve had in my life. So what is this new love? Tashreeb with lamb. It is truly a one of a kind culinary delight. If you haven’t had it, you should.

Very Good food.I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for a certain flavor or spice in everything. In chicken or beef. Ordered the tray for 2-3 people and it was huge and tasty and for the price, it was great! Would have given 5 stars but took a star away cause we found hair 3 times in our food which was a bummer.
