Zaks Waterside Grill

Delicious food, great service, cool decor, nice location. This place realllly exceeded my expectations. Don't ask me why, but I'd pictured something with less quality: a money-making scheme without the passion for cooking. But it was lovely. The service was down-to-earth and conscientious. The food was fresh, delicious, and the added bonus of local beers really meant something to me. I did ask for a discount on account of my name, but no joy there. We left a tip for the waitress. Well-deserved. Nice, too, to look out over the river at Cow Tower, one of Norwich's historical spots. Will I return? Absolutely.

Been going to this Zak's for a few years now. Very friendly staff and good food. I was concerned with where we sat would be quite cold (we went in Dec 21), however the heating system in place was very good. My order didn't look much in truth, however i was very full afterwards which was satisfying. The major downer is the car park is tiny and very tight, however for its location along the river, this is expected. Definitely recommend

Breakfast at Zaks was amazing and a great price too! The American pancakes tasted so good and we will totally be back to have breakfast here again when we are next in Norwich. The restaurant itself is great and looks out over the river which was great on a hot summers morning and super relaxed environment. Great staff and super friendly.

A member of staff was very helpful in regards to the parking situation as there aren't many spaces available.The food was amazing we had vegetarian hot dogs, they were big portions,loved the chocolate milkshake to finish of with. Would highly recommend. Staff excellent with the service and also loved the whole atmosphere of the place

Great atmosphere, wonderful food, friendly staff inexpensive. Blue cheese dip was amazing!
