I'm sick as I write, physically and emotionally. was here for lunch today and I can't believe how we were treated. I have strict diet requirements I cannot eat milk) and after my research she found a vegan menu, so I thought perfect, my partner and I can go to lunch there. I will get pizza or pasta with vegan cheese! also called before and asked if they were definitiw vegan, they said yes. asked about the vegan menu when we arrived and was shown to a table. my partner is not vegan. However, we decided to get 2 pizzas from the vegan menu as we wanted to share and he was happy to do that. our waitress was small, older, dark hair dressed in smart casual, blue color. I ordered for both of us. I pointed out the two pizzen and spoke ' the funghi pizza and the pesto roasted veg pizza, both vegan please ' I have clearly said this and she nodded and said okay. she did not listen and it becomes obvious that she has terrible customer service and no respect for the nutritional needs. my question with milk is connected healthily and what happens next is a dangerous game for a restaurant. the two pizzas come and I know that minen doesn't have a pesto on it? I'll ask about this and tell you: we don't have one. absolutely shocking. then I share my partner, he says he's so good that he can't believe it's not real! I agree and start to take care of me. he says I think they just gave you the vegan pizza and accepted, mins are just normal. even if I ordered the vegan menu holding, sign on the special pizzas and speaking and asked me to be vegan. we ask the waitress and she couldn't care less, 'yes, it's normal pizza ' she says. I realized in the months I only eaten the cheese and know that I have great time for it because of this error due to the waitress. a mistake she is responsible for. no excuse. I can't even begin to argue about it or make a mess. I'm sorry. my partner tries to stand up for me and explain 'they said both vegan'. She is fighting and has a really terrible attitude. people like these should not work in the hospitality. She didn't listen to me. she made a massive mistake for which I must suffer. she didn't even want to admit that it was her fault! the way she was treated was the worst part. no understanding, no compassion, no attempt to make it better. only cold, unemotional it shakes off. I will share this with men, because I do not want the same to happen to them. sort out their employees, educate them via their menu and get them better from customer service. After the two obvious mistakes of the waitress were questioned, neither strenuous nor any one made to reconcile our sadness. that is serious and is a form of disregard/ignorance on so many levels. this restaurant advertises itself as a vegan menu, but it is certainly not vegan friendly. or any other diet requirement friendly for this issue.
