I went to this hidden gem 3 days in one week. I found them on google . And I aim to bring all my friends, family and colleagues. I love that I choose them when I'm was in charge of organizing a get-together. They are super cool, offer great service, and chilean dishes are delicious, clean, and great. Also, the spot offers east parking, outdoor or indoor seating. Best of all lunch and dinner specials with happy hour. We found this place by accident and were very impressed with the food and the service. I had the cazuela de res and my husband had the Paula Marina. Both dishes were delicious. The cazuela is full of veggies, pumpkin, potato, corn and large piece of meat on the bone for eve more flavor. The paila was full of seafood and a light delicious broth. The service at Zapallar was the worst I've ever experienced. We waited 30 minutes and had to call over two different waiters before anyone took our order. Even then, no one brought water to our table. After waiting an hour for our food, one item was missing, and they never came back to fix it. We left after pointing out the missing item, and the only response we got was a question about whether we still wanted it, with no apology whatsoever.
Nice place to be in with amazing food and service… it offers a great variety of food, desserts, and drinks menu options. Awesome customer service and the way employees project themselves is top tier. Wonderful environment in the evenings! It?s BYOB, so don?t forget to bring your wine. Had a great time here with my family. Enjoyed a delicious dinner with excellent service! I highly recommend this place. We had a smorgasbord, great to see a place like this in the heart of North Bergen, NJ!!
we just returned from a trip to chile and decided to lookup Chilean restaurants and OMG. the food here is better than what we tried in Santiago. and the name Zapallar happens to be a beautiful magical place in Chile. we will certainly return.
Food is good as always I went on Monday for my birthday and the workers are always so nice! Perfect place to go for amazing food, I didn't get enough pictures of the food but my friend took this one, their deserts are also good!
It was delicious. I got the chilean sea bass and my wife got the pastel de choclo. We also had empanadas for appetizers and they tasted very authentic.

Customer service was great! Food was fresh. Pisco sour very good. Humitas delicious!! The white rice and pilaf yellow rice need to be improve.
