So I came across this place as a spot to grab lunch. I called in my order of vegetable udon and miso soup and the lady said it would take 20 minutes. When I arrived I parked in front of the restaurant and ran in. The lady asked my name and put my food in this contactless slot. The total came to $10.26 which was pretty good and I paid and I left. When I got home I ate and I liked the miso soup but the udon was just ok. It had an interesting taste, not nasty but not great but I ate it anyway. All in all I had an ok experience.
I’m really disappointed to find out that they are closed. I sincerely hope it’s just a temporary closure. They truly served the best sushi I’ve ever had. The crazy banana roll and the tempura rolls were amazing. Their lunch specials were fantastic as well. I’ve visited numerous Japanese restaurants in both the suburbs and major cities, but this place was the best when it came to rolls and sushi. Please reopen soon!
Worst sushi ever, ordered Chicken Katsu bento box with Caribbean Roll and the service was the worst. Pick up time was 20 minutes and once arrived nothing was done. Had to wait for them to prepare it. Worst chicken ever, it was so dry and hard to eat. Do yourself a favor and do not eat from this place. Their Miso soups are the worst!
I've been ordering sushi from this restaurant for over five years. They were the ones who introduced me to sushi, and I find it difficult to locate another good sushi place. Their food is consistently excellent, and the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend the spicy salmon roll with spicy mayo and soy sauce!

One of my favorite sushi spots! The lunch special is a great deal and the sushi is really tasty. There are usually two waitresses: one is really nice and cheery and the other one acts like she'd rather be anywhere else, but the food and prices are awesome so I'll always come back!
The shrimp tempura and chicken teriyaki are both absolutely delicious! The shrimp tempura is served warm, while the chicken teriyaki arrives sizzling on a hot plate. Both dishes are packed with flavor, and the extra sauce is a great addition!
I just found out that they are closed due to a fire, which is really sad. I've been going to this place for years. To be honest, I've tried other sushi spots, but nothing compares to Zen Sushi. I will really miss you all.
The sushi here is excellent, but it's best for takeout. Parking can be a major issue for dining in. I've had a few instances where I wanted to eat here but had to leave because I couldn't find a place to park.

We had an amazing time in this spot. We enjoyed the excellent environment and the menu. The staff are very attentive. I’m glad we finally managed to visit this restaurant.
This restaurant could easily compete with sushi spots in Manhattan. It’s by far the best one in North Jersey.
