We were between trains on our trip from Montreux to Zermatt and had 45 minutes to grab a quick lunch. This spot is at one of the station exits and has a very busy terrace dining area.It is a little confusing to tourists as to procedure. The wife went to the food counter and I handled the beverages. Everything found its way to our table by two servers. The wife had an excellent Caesar salad and I had a "Canapé mit" (?). It was a single slice of bread with some roast beef on one third, cold slaw on one third and carrots to finish it out. All was covered with a gelatin aspec. It was weird, but the flavors were good. We also shared a bowl of tomato bisque. Two glasses of white wine finished out our quick lunch and at 25.50 CHF was one of the least expensive meals we have had in Switzerland. There was a McDonalds next door, but I have not stooped that low yet.If you happen to be at the Visp train station give it a try. Even the restrooms were spotless and did not cost 1.5 CHF to use.

This is a chain coffee shop as I've seen a few locations during my travels in Switzerland. I had coffee here a couple times during my stay in Visp. Nice seating outside. Service was decent. There was a nice variety of snacks available in the bakery section of the restaurant.
