Zio Italian Kitchen

Came for the pizza but stayed for the grilled calamari! In a world where everything is fried, especially the calamari, it's nice to find someone that takes a different approach. Yes, it's squid. Yes it's tasty but most people feel the only way to stomach what they are putting in their mouth is to cover it in bread crumb and deep fry it so that one can't tell if it's squid, a cheese curd or an Oreo. But here they offer it grilled on a bed of spinach with cherry tomatoes and it was worth it. Oh yeah, there's pizza here too. Good pizza. Pizza that you just keep eating until you run out regardless of how full you are. Plenty of toppings and a good, not too thin crust. I would definitely try this...

Hubby I decided on a whim to check out Zio last night and we were so happy we did. The atmosphere was charming. Our server was so great, she was very friendly and super attentive without being intrusive. The food was so good, we had fried mozzarella meatballs with ricotta to start, both were hot yummy! We also each had a bowl of pasta with bolognese sauce, both were so delicious. Can't wait to eat there again!!

Our family is always treated w amazing courtesy and respect! The food is five stars especially the salads and veal parm. Michelle the manager is so kind and welcoming the Chef amazing! Real Italian food!! We love it here now to clone this place and open up in Harbor Point in Stamford!!!

This place is unorganized and over priced. They are listed on Uber eats as open when they aren't. Do yourself a favor and go to a placer the rhymes with smavincis, or shmatalia and save yourself the disappointment. Réservez une table maintenant

I ordered a meatball grinder the other week and was very disappointed to find that there was only 1 meatball (cut in half) on each half of my grinder. I won't be going back.

My coworker introduced me to this restaurant, and I'm so glad she did! Zio is now my go-to spot for margherita pizza. It's the best I've ever had, and absolutely delicious!

If you're looking for truly delicious Italian food this is the place to go! I can't recommend one item because everything on the menu is superb!!

Stopped here randomly passing through Norwalk and was delighted. Just solid, no frills Italian classics. The lasagna was particularly good. Réservez une table maintenant

Grub hub screwed up my order thru their system. Zio is redoing my order and delivering it to my room. Great food. Great service.

This restaurant has great food and service and serves good drinks. Heavy Italian food but tasty. Would return.
