Away in North Berwick for a week and visited several times because the food and service is that good. Between us we have sampled most of the Tapas menu and the dishes are all absolutely delicious. Pizzas are all freshly made and again delicious. My...daughters each had a steak and while they were a little thinner than expected, both were perfectly cooked. Next, the service. This is absolutely exceptional. The staff are all so welcoming and professional and this establishment should be proud of them all. we visited on a Sunday evening and had booked in advance we were disappointed that we sat right next to the toilet door. we asked to move too empty tables, but we said they were reserved for other bookings, so the only other option was to...sit on a high table next to the bar. we regretted sticking with the table we were assigned when the toilet door opened, all we could smell was the toilets during our meal. the other tables we had asked to move remained empty during our meal, which was disappointing. our food took minutes to come, which was only pizzas and the restaurant was not full. pizza was good when it came, but nothing special very thin. the staff is very polite, but we did not cost...
Cards on the table... I would never chose to go Italian when eating out as its just not usually my cup of tea but we were hungry and had stopped in North Berwick on a Saturday night without a reservation and Zitto were very accommodating...despite being fully booked and squeezed us in. Our starters were huge and very tasty and the main course was equally tasty. The staff were very attentive and if in the area I would definitely go again.
we visited zitto twice in the same week. at the first visit eating delivered quickly tasted nice. service was good. for the gloomy I ordered the hot chocolate wingcake ice cream.
